Promovido pelo Instituto de Relações Internacionais da USP, CAENI e Departamento de Ciência Política da USP, no dia 21 de maio de 2019, vai acontecer o seminário “Cronyism in State Violence: Evidence from Labor Repression During Argentina’s Last Dictatorship”, que será ministrado pelo Prof. Sebastián Saiegh, do Departamento de Ciência Política da Universidade da Califórnia.
Sebastián M. Saiegh is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego. He earned his Ph.D. from New York University, and has previously taught at the University of Pittsburgh. His research interests cut across the fields of comparative politics, positive political theory and political economy. Saiegh has a regional focus on Latin America, and he is an expert on Argentine politics. His work addresses a number of different topics, including statutory policy-making, legislative politics, sovereign borrowing, electoral forensics, civil war exposure, and sports analytics.
